GRILLED RIBEYE STEAK WITH SALT & PEPPER RUB

Ingredients:

  • 2 ribeye steaks, about 1 ½ inches thick

Instructions:

  2. While the grill is heating up, allow the ribeye steaks to come to room temperature for approximately 30 minutes.

  4. Pat the ribeye steaks dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.

  6. Once the grill is hot, place the seasoned ribeye steaks directly onto the grill grates. Grill for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare doneness, adjusting the cooking time based on your preference and the thickness of the steaks.
  7. Avoid excessive flipping to allow the steaks to develop a caramelized crust on the first side before turning.
  8. Once the steaks reach your desired level of doneness, remove them from the grill and let them rest for about 5 minutes to allow the juices to redistribute.
